Alyssa Bogouslavski, born and raised on Maui, placed 1st overall in the state Gymnastics competition on Sunday, March 26 in Honolulu (Moanalua High School). She competed in Xcel Silver category and also placed 1st in floor, bar and vault.
“I am proud to represent Maui, my home. Congrats to my close friends, Sophia, Saphina and Kaitlyn for their victories at that competition as well! We will continue “raising the bar” and bringing trophies to Maui! I appreciate all love and support from my family and friends, especially my little sister Aurora, also a gymnast. Special mahalo to 808 Gymnastics, Emmanuel Lutheran School and all of Maui.”
