Maui’s own Derick Sebastian has been performing “The Star-Spangled Banner” on his ‘ukulele at Major League Baseball Spring Training games in Arizona. In all, Sebastian has and will play for six teams in three different stadiums.

The ‘uke virtuoso is no stranger to the national anthem. Here’s a clip of him playing it to roaring applause at a Los Angeles Lakers game.

“I may not be playing professional baseball, but I’m now performing my ʻukulele in stadiums and arenas for national sporting events,” said the Wailuku-born Sebastian, per KHON. “I’m truly humbled by this adventure and happy to add it to my musical playbook.”
