Steven Dabney moved to Maui in 1968. In the early ‘70s, he formed a band called, fittingly, Supernatural. He wrote about various watermen—including, fair disclosure, for the old MauiTime—and was one himself. He partied. He got himself into and out of some trouble. He settled into Makawao. Now, he’s published a book, titled “Missing Link”
